By placing the face not entirely in the ligt, I keep a bit of mysterious mood in the photo. You can see it as a reversed Rembrandt-light; instead of a little triangular light on the face I created a triangular of shadow.
The light in this photo was created by a single flash on the left side of the model. It was fitted with a big reflector and placed way up high. It gices the photo an equal light from left to right but the light remains pretty harsh.
