Wielrennen Kaatsheuvel

Canon 1D mk III / EF 70-200mm F/2.8 L IS USM | 1/640 - f/2.8 - iso 200

It doesn't allways have to be at a big event to make a nice photo. When the races are smaller their is still plenty of opporunity to make an interesting photo. This photo was taken at a race in the nearby village of Kaatsheuvel.

The little kids ride in bikes that are a little bit to big for them. It looks a bit clumsy when they start. They have to be carefull not to ran into eachother. This little boy was no exception.

Although their is no speed in this photo, you don't miss it. The angle of the bike gives some of dynamics. But it's the carefull look of the little boy that makes the story. Where is he looking at? What's so important next to him that keeps his eyes off the road ahead? The answer is in the bussy area behind him, the cyclists behind him are also more interested in what happens next to them instead of the things ahead.
