A clear blue sky. Sunny shining. Nice weather to look at cars racing around the track of Zandvoort in the dunes near the Dutch coast. Also, nice to take photos. I'm a bit of guy who likes warm weather.
This photo was shot when the car exited the famous Tarzancorner, a 180 degree corner right after the long straight. Michel Bleekemolen is accelerating hard in his BMW. The car is deeply pressed backwards. The slow shutterspeed let´s the car fly over the track.
By choosing a wide angle and put a tiny car in the frame I create a big negative space of blue sky. It draws your attention to the car. The small bottom of green grass complements the blue. The white car makes a nice contrast to the rest of the photo.
Looking for a suitable place to shoot your photo made it possible to shoot the car without irritating commercial boards in the back. It would be distractive.
