An old concretefactory in the Dutch town Raalte was the setting for this photo. The factory is abandoned for years now and it houses several artists but you can also rent it for photoshoots. Because it's abandoned their are numerous of small areas like this one.
Grafitti can be very interesting as a background due to it's colours. Sometimes you have to look for it. But when you found it it's a beautifull setting for a raw-edged photo.
The light was brought in with an Elinchrome Quadra and a small deep octagonal softbox. It put's the light where it's needed. The longer use of shutterspeed made the setting more equal. A higher shutterspeed would blacken out everything where the flash was not hitting the model.
