Wout Droste speelde tot op heden zijn hele loopbaan in het profvoetbal bij Go Ahead Eagles.
Voordat de uit Polen afkomstige Michael Janota bij Go Ahead Eagles kwam, speelde hij in Nederland eerder voor Feyenoord en Excelsior.
